"More than 30 years ago, I established The Casa de Dom Inacio on this Blessed soil of Abadiania, the Sacred ground where God placed me to fulfill my mission. I do not heal anyone. The One who heals is God, who in his infinite goodwill allows the Entities that assist me to provide healing and consolation to my brothers and sisters. I am truly just an instrument in His Divine Hands.
I was a gem miner so I know that a precious stone must suffer the wear of polishing to show its beauty. People who are ignorant of stones will not see its value before it is polished. Every one of us is like a rare diamond of creation that needs to be polished by enduring pain and suffering in order to realise its highest potential.
Great suffering is generated as a consequence of the world going through great transformation and suffering. In the midst of this, our ability to sustain our lives and our strength resides in our trust in the Supreme Being who is our God.
I wish to remind us of the words of Christ in the Gospel of John (Ch. 15 V. 12): This is my commandment - Love One Another as I Loved You -"

João Teixeira da Faria known as John of God, how it all started
Joao was born on June 24th 1942, in a small village in Central Brazil. His father was a tailor. Joao's family were faced with hunger and poverty despite the father's hard working life. Already as a child, he had clairvoyant abilities. His formal education was cut short after 2 years, due to his rebellious attitude. This must have been a blessing in disguise that allowed him to develop in such a way to better serve the future.
At 16 years old, he traveled to Campo Grande as a tailor apprentice. For no apparent reasons, his job was terminated the very first day. Perplexed and in front of hunger and poverty, he went swimming in a nearby creek to wash away his anxieties.
Then suddenly, he heard a voice call his name. He was amazed to see a beautiful, fair-haired woman next to a tree. He sat near her, and they spoke for a long time. Later that night he realized she was Saint Rita of Cassia. With many questions still unanswered, he returned to the same spot the next morning hoping to speak to her . A beam of light sparkled in the place where she had stood and her voice then emerged from the light. She instructed him to go to a Spiritist center in town where the people were expecting him. Not understanding the meaning of this, he nonetheless did what he was told.
When he arrived at the church, members were indeed expecting him. He experienced blackouts then lost consciousness. On awakening a few hours later, he apologized for passing out and explained this was due to hunger. To João's surprise, a senior member told him he had not merely passed out but he had been incorporated by the spirit of King Solomon. He went on to say that in those three hours that he couldn't remember, Joao had healed many people and performed amazing surgeries. he naturally thought this was a mistake. But after he was served a meal and more discussion took place, João began to reflect on the possibility that this could be true. So began the spiritual career of Joao de Deus known as John of God, whose healings have benefited hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world.
